They belonged to my mom, she passed away 2 years ago at age 84, her and her closest sister were Franciscian nuns, my mom joined when she was 13 and was in till she was 43 when she met and married my dad and adopted my sister and I, anyone know anything about them? 20180930_021116.webp

I'm reaching here but I'm going to say the cross, because of it's inscriptions was given to her when she became an initiate in the Franciscan order. The second medallion may be a St Christopher's medal and the tiny swatch of fabric in the back of the medal was swiped or had some other contact with his corporeal remains IE a bone a bloodstain his sneakers or other. That's what a relic is. Put em in a nice shadow box with a nice letter of remembrance and a photo of your family. If you still maintain the faith it could become a shrine for your folks.

Best wishes!

Often the crosses and other parts of a rosary are not well advertised. They're almost always blessed by the Pope himself and are never to be sold, pawned or traded except to other Catholics. I know this because we have a Catholic center in my county that is a special "Radical" order and their graduates and supporters live in areas never very far from their facility. I've picked up their trinkets at yard sales and had them jerked from my hand when they figured out I wasn't Catholic. I actually had an early ancestor who was killed fighting for the reformation in Switzerland. I guess it's written on my face somewhere? Either that or I made skeeters hatch in the holly water! Only in gentle fun folks!
