Because it wasn't a pound. LOL!
Just kidding! I was doing some night hunting on Saturday night with a buddy in a field at the end of my road. The area dates back to the 1820's. There is this one spot in the field on a down hill slant where I have been finding a lot of stuff. I have been digging just about everything when I got a classic foil signal. I dug it and bout pooped my pants when this popped out. I have no idea what it actually is but the gold passes an 18K test. The post on the back connecting the 2 pieces is soldered with copper. Anybody have any idea what it is?
