The wheatie blues makin' me LOONIE....

Past 3 days dug 17 wheaties at 7 different parks. HOW? How can there be that many left?

Did manage a '48 rosy today in the middle of the wheaty fest and a first for me...a LOONIE :-)

Where did all the quarters go? 11 silver dimes this year, no Q's...just odd...

Cool. I found my first wheat today (just started detecting last week) it was a 1941. I had a penny fest as well a total of 14 today. I got lucky with 6 in one hole and 4 in another. This is also my first post. Hi peeps. This cool site is why I got a detector.

You got to look at it this way...some people were too lazy to bend over and pick up a penny they dropped....just like today. They seem to take a little more interest in picking up the other coins they drop..maybe beacause they can find them easier.

I dug one of those Loonies at a park 2 months ago..they're hard to find.

Here's the link..mine was dull and yellowish like yours when I first dug it up..I dared to use a soap pad on it and it came out looking like new (the vertical scratches were NOT caused by the soap pad!)
