The weekend in review "not bad"
Ok here we go.
Friday.
I decided to try an old farm close to the foundations we have been hunting. The walk was a bit rough up a long steep embankment and about 1/4 mile across a corn field up hill, whew I was whooped..anyway in an hour or so I Got ANOTHER belt buckle cast with a crest on front I think it says Levy Bros on back...? Next some clad, a 1945 nickel, and a 1927 Buffalo.
Saturday.
Got out at 6 am with fellow member markgPA We wadded across the river (yes in the river again) to an island that had a amusement park till 1927 or so. It took a while to locate the right area but finally found the spot where the miniature train ride was. I found a track and a small railroad spike (the 50 cent piece is for size) we were out of time both having things to do, But we are going back...for the good stuff he he..
Sunday.
It was raining today but what the hay Ill go out anyway it was slowing down. I went to a local park that I figured had to be hunted out. got a bunch of clad first off then got 2 wheat's a 1917 and a 191? both in bad shape. I got a 1927 Buffalo kinda ratty but nice and a pretty clean 1936 merc...silver baby..Started raining harder and the xlt was getting wet so I stoped. Well thats my story sorry so long..
Thanks for looking H.H. TnT
