Every week I order 2 boxes of cents, nickels, dimes and halves plus what ever CRWs are available.
Started with the cents. Two boxes plus $59 in CRWs. The CRWs only produced about 20 Wheaties.
The first box yielded over 50 more Wheaties. All told I found 89 Wheaties, the oldest being a VG 1915.
I also keep the copper.
The dimes were next. Two boxes plus $35 in CRWs. I pulled 3 Rosies out of one box, the oldest being
a 1950 S.
The two boxes of halves produced the intersting finds. The first box was a skunk. The second yielded
two 40%ers, one 90% Kennedy, one 1996 S silver proof (the field is all marred) and the biggest surprise
a 1928 East Africa 10 cent copper. It is the size of our 50 cent pieces with a hole in the middle. (The hole
is suppose to be there). If I could figure out how to take a decent photo and post it, I will.
I will do the nickels later. Have a honey-do list to start. Anything good, I'll update.
