Goldhound was out, yesterday or today. Found an almost completely intact olive jar on 4th hole blown. Beautiful artifact...pics on Facebook.

By the way, where did you get those current aerial pics?

Tom

You have to be friends either directly with Greg Bounds or "like" the Shipwreckhunter page...as I think they shared the story and video.

Tom, I believe it was the Capitana that found the olive jar sherd.

It's was still a little too much swell for us today. Hopefully tomorrow!!

It's under Queens jewels facebook maybe that's why some are having problems finding it!

bikerlawyer,These are all just great !

You can see, I think, Goldhound's boat blowing in the 2nd and 3rd to last pics, pretty sure that was the day he found the cannon with coins.

Fantastic aerial pics Brad. Thanks.

Where Greg is blowing is area of the old "G" marker, just north of Turtle Trail beach access. Lots of interesting treasures found around there over the years, including on the beach. I discovered a big cannon on the 1st reef in 1991 (furthest one north on Corrigans that I know of) and found some great treasures with Chris James the same year. Kevin Mckee dug up a beautiful, iron swivel cannon just south of there, around marker "F" in 1992. All very close to the beach (deep sand) or on 1st reef. Tom
