Too much rain to Detect on Saturday & the River is near flood, so I thought it was going to be a tough sticky boot day. However, I didn't account for how hard the wind has been blowing & the field was the best its been in ages. Therefore we gridded for 15 minutes short of 6 hours.

So Awesome!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!

To be honest Crusader what you keep finding on an almost daily basis is so encouraging that 99.9 percent of the finds in the World are still out there waiting to be found. You have what many people aspire to. Just great finds consistently brings the past alive for me. Take credit for my growing obsession for bits of green metal.

Well done on the Sceat, and penny.
Liking the mount with the red still on it.
(Should be able to trace that one having such good details on it)

You found yet another sceat? I do like the button with the dog...and the bit with red still on it...you are a detecting machine!

I totally agree with what Dakota Sioux said. I spend a lot of time researching what you find because I have no clue what you’re talking about. Lol! But then, I am in just awe of it. A sincere thanks for posting. Awesome recoveries always! :hello2::notworthy::bronzetrophy:
