Beautiful day yesterday so I decided to get out and do a little swinging. Went to one of my permissions that Iโ€™ve hit pretty hard but decided to give it a try anyway, plucked some pulltabs and clad and I looked over at the water and saw the tide was low so I decided to hit up the shore and it paid off pretty well.

After finding a couple wheat pennies and memorials got a sweet signal when I saw the gray I knew it was silver and to my surprise it ended up being an 1854 Seated Liberty Quarter!! Iโ€™ve only found one other Seated quarter and this one being the oldest so far. After digging up some more junk I got another sweet signal, saw the gray, I knew it was silver and it ended up being a Washington Quarter minted 99 years after the Seated. I also managed a couple of buttons from the 1800s, the small one has a nice design on it.

Fun day, thanks for looking, HH

NICE WORK. Excellent seated recovery bud

Congrats on that Seated Quarter DD. That is one nice looking coin.

Those are really some amazing finds! The Seated Quarter is so cool. They are not commonly dug.

Great day swinging, congratulations! :occasion14:
