Cru'dad & I spent hours driving around & walking/scouting new land without much success for a hunting spot. On the way back we turned off to a farm we haven't done in 2 years to met up with the owner. He was not contactable, but we left a message & started our way home again. However, as we pulled out of the villiage we saw a field ploughed & without crop (1 we had permission for), so we stopped for a short 1.5 hour hunt:

Dad got a 14th C Thimble, similar to mine yesterday.
I trumped it with a 14th C Seal Matrix:headbang:

Quite a bit smaller, but it has a double line at the base, mine had a single like most of the others.

that seal matrix its beautiful, never found one YET!!
what does the lettering say? I like the faces very much.
Congrats on the thimble

Congrats on the thimble

They are quite hard to find, if I get 2 a year I'm happy.

I've been researching the letters, but can't figure it out:
