Had a little free time today, hit up my new favorite location. Found quite a few interesting things, like an axe head, old fishing reel in phenomenal shape, another ring and a whole bunch of other stuff, I am starting to see olde stuff (bottles) starting to pop through, give it 1 or 2 more trips then I should be in the full swing..

The ring..

Before I open the fishing reel up to clean and oil the gears (yes it still works) I wanted to post some of the pictures..

Looks like a very fun hunt.

Looks like you have a REEL hot spot...heh. Keep pulling back the layers and see what lies below. GL, man.

Is there now a "Funky Button" category on T-Net? If so that rocks! :headbang:

Cool finds.

Nice little honey hole you got there. I'd love to find a spot like that to hunt. Nice finds!

ps- that is a pretty cool button, here is another one just like it- Antique Black Glass Relief Rabbit Picture Button Blue Lavender Carnival Luster

Thanks for the link. .it's pre 1918 so I am getting older..lol..I know there has to be some colonial items there given the location (historical marker 200 yards away) and it was one of the routes "mad" Anthony Wayne took..time will tell

Pretty rad Muck. Seems like you found a good spot to savor for a while!

-Happy Hunting!

Color me officially jealous Mucky. That ring cleaned up really nice and the rabbit button is really pretty.

really cool finds, that reel is just awesome, it will look great on the wall or on a desk! and that it still works is even better!
