I have always enjoyed finding nickels with my dfx but until his weekend I never really appreciated the fact that I dig them all. I detected a small churchyard near my house that seemed to have been swept clean of any silver but whoever did that must not have been a nickel hound. I pulled out 1918 and 1919 buffalo nickels, what appears to be a gold plated watch fob, and a 10k gold class ring all of which shot from 14-22 on my dfx (the nickel range). I think I may have tracked down the owner of the class ring and plan on returning it soon. Hope you all enjoy looking half as much as I enjoyed the digging.

Very nice job in the low range! Keep up the good work and pick out those valuables others have missed!

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot of people don't dig low targets my cousin being one of them! I tell him all the time your passing gold! He doesn't seem to mind though

WTG on digging those nickel signals! I've found they are well worth digging myself!

Thanks everyone! It is simply a very good feeling to start pulling some more interesting things from the ground. It is even better when they are walking distance from your house!

Digging those nickel tones get be daunting, especially on a hot day, but one out of 10 is usually a keeper!
