This little bronze plaque was a garage sale find last weekend it is about 1/4 inch thick. Any ideas on this design? I appreciate your insight.

Just tidying up some blasts from the past (including some very ancient ones), largely for the benefit of anyone searching the site for information.

Not Russian, but Turkish. It depicts Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, revered as the father of modern Turkey, who died in 1938. The one below says it’s from c.1965 but I believe these were produced at various times in commemoration of the man, including in 1981 for the centenary of his birth.
