Somewhere in South Dakota Wyoming ( I was coming back from South Dakota)in 1999 on a trip we saw a sign for a town with a pop of 4. Had a bar a post office and 2 mobile homes.

Know of an incorporated area called Couch Mo it has 8 homes and a Post Office, or Myrtle Mo not much bigger but it has a country store.

Re: The smallest town you've ever passed by on road trip

How does a town with a population of 4 even have a bar? That's crazy.

Re: The smallest town you've ever passed by on road trip

I guess they wake up, drink till its time to check the mail and drink till bed. Heck if you lived in a town that small it'd probably drive you to drink too.

Re: The smallest town you've ever passed by on road trip

There are four towns in this country with pop of 1 person. But I don't think I will have a chance to drive through anyone of them.

Re: The smallest town you've ever passed by on road trip

Drive through any ONE of them.... haha, get it??

Re: The smallest town you've ever passed by on road trip

i dont have the time or gas money or a dependable vehicle to take roadtrips. :(

Re: The smallest town you've ever passed by on road trip

Too many unincorporated towns to count.... And some under 100 in population.

Now the smallest I've ever CRH'ed in....Hmmmm... population = 143 is the smallest I can confirm without more research.

And though I've never CRH'd there as I don't believe they still have a bank, I thought you might find this interesting article interesting... A city that seceded from the union (happens to be where my grandparents lived for many years), though they never did mint their own coinage that I am aware of.

I lived in Wyoming in the early 70's and remember passing through a town with a population of 4. It's one of those things you never forget.

My dad used to live in Wyoming and he mentioned one of those towns to me. It had a sign that said population 3 with the 3 crossed out and one written over it. Everyone said that his wife must have taken the kid and left him :dontknow:

Re: The smallest town you've ever passed by on road trip

I grew up in Southern Indiana in a small town with a population of maybe 50 folks and most of them were related to me in some way. We did have a restaurant and a gas station although but both are long gone now.

Re: The smallest town you've ever passed by on road trip
