Went to my favorite beach today, was in the high 30's, wind going at 15-20 knots, storm just blew by, there was a small cut and I guarantee you I have enough shredded aluminum cans to last a lifetime. Got skunked pretty good. I did get about $1.25 in clad, big whoop. Found 15 cents at the convenience store before I got to the beach. Did get to see another snowy owl, some Arctic buntings, and a flock of snow geese and a bunch of mallards.

At least you got to get out! Here in Dallas\Ft. Worth We have ice for days

Same here in Tulsa...snow and ice :/

I hear ya on the can slaw, drives me nuts! Sunday morning will probably be my final hunt before ground is frozen.
Don't feel bad about the $1.25 clad. One time all I found was watch parts & metal debris, while my son waves a $10 bill in my face he just picked up in the bushes! Lol! I can't win!
I guess with your sightings of all the fowl of winter we should believe it will happen. HH while we can!

Any Eskimo women in bikinis on the beach braving the weather? :tongue3:
Just thought I'd ask.

Cabin fever setting in here in Plano Tx.

U must be pretty far SOuth to still have Mallards flying around.
They are some of the first ones to get froze out when the weather gets cold.

There were six deer in the lawn yesterday. Probably looking for a handout.

Anytime you can get out and hunt is better than being stuck inside.HH.
