I have completely solved the Secret for the Florida treasure.
I have been trying to contact Expedition Unknown….with no luck at all..
The Casque lies in a place where permission will be needed to recover.
Does anyone have anyway to help with contacting the discovery channel….I’m sure Mr Josh Gates would like to be present when the secret is revealed…
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated…
Thanks

A LOT of CLAIMS are made to get PUBLICITY

It's a book called "The Secret".
A guy buried a bunch of "Casque's" around the country with cryptic clues. I think 3 or four have been found and the story was highlighted on the Discovery Channel.

Just for the sake of argument, lets say you definitively, without a doubt, "found" a legitimate treasure, the very last thing you'd ever want to do is contact a reality TV show. You said you need "permission", but the quickest way to lose permission would be to involve a reality TV show as most land owners will NEVER want to advertise to the world they have actual treasure on their land and have entire production and demolition crews traipsing all over their land digging it up to exploit it for a show, not to mention all the weirdo's and criminals the show will bring there after the show airs since you are presumably going to be digging up millions of dollars in treasure right in front of a world wide audience.

No sir, if you legitimately found a treasure, and aren't just wanting to profit off chasing a legend you think you solved, your best bet would be to contact an attorney, who in turn can privately contact the land owners and draw up a contract. And if money is an issue, if you legitimately can show you found it, you'll have no problem what so ever acquiring private investors to fund it and you can then also bring in your own private documenter to film the recovery.

There is no "real" treasure. It is an ornate little box with a "key" in it. When you turn the key into the estate (the original author has passed) you get a pretty gemstone. So the finder would probably get a lot more money from the Discovery channel.

I believe Expedition Unknown did a segment on this a couple of years ago and Josh Gates follows various people still as they search for the boxes. Byron Preiss apparently buried 12 boxes and only 3 have been recovered. He gave clues to where the boxes are buried in a book (The Secret). He has since passed, but his estate still rewards the finders with a gem which is apparently valuable.

I have a copy of the book it's quite interesting. The book has the contact information to claim the prize. It also says if the prize is unrecoverable that you can still claim the prize by proving the exact location. The daughters of the author are currently the only ones that actually know the location of the remaining keys. Each box represents a birthstone and that is the prize. Not a huge value to most of the gems but fun looking all the same.

Actually only 3 of the 12 have been found. The last one in 2019. It has now been 40 years. I will say it does appear the Josh Gates may be helpful in getting access to places that most of us can not. I also would like to get his ear and have his help.
On the topic of St Augustine I don't believe that to be the correct location but no one including myself can claim they have the correct solution until they have actually found the box.
So I wish you the best of luck.

ACCORDING to the book NO PERMISSION is needed to dig any of the items

No permission was required 40 years ago. A lot could have changed since then. The last one found used to be a ballpark and was surrounded by a construction fence to have the whole park renovated.
