The second edition of the book "Galleons with treasures"

The second edition of my book (in Spanish for the time being), Galleons with treasures, it's available. As it is very well-known, my work has been used (unduly) by Odyssey Marine "OME" and with my consent for the Spanish authorities in the case in the court of Tampa for a treasure that OME recovers in a strange enough way south of Portugal and belonging to the Spanish war frigate Nuestra Señora de la Mercedes.
I hope to be able to offer very soon the English edition of my book.
Cheers VV

Re: The second edition of the book "Galleons with treasures"

once you "sell" information (publish a book for folks to buy ) what folks do with the information is their bussiness and if you got "paid" for supplying the information -- you're one of of the many parties profieting from the wrecks ( they did buy your book to get the info right?-- you might be getting only a small bit of money but it s still money)

I respect you as a writer , and everyone is welcome to have differant veiws -- but a with the title "gallleons with treasure" do you not think that folks seeking treasure *( treasure hunter / explorer types -- which you seem to dislike) would be the exact folks a title like that would draw?

why put out a book about "galleons with treasure" (thus fanning the lust for treasure) and selling the book putting your info on the streets and profieting by selling your knowledge -- then bemoan the fact that folks are then looking for the wrecks using the very info you "sold" them in your book?

Hi Ivan,
I fortunately don't need to write a book to make money, because I am vice - president of a very solvent company. I wrote this book for prestige and to diffuse the maritime culture of an exciting time as the Carrera de Indias or Spanish trips of the colonial time. My book also seeks to demonstrate that from 1981, year that I began with the search of galleons, I always acted legally and I will follow it making, because in 1982 I worked in Portugal with a permit of the Portuguese Navy until my last works in Latin America, always with the due institutional authorizations.
Cheers VV
