this is a rock footprint found in Indiana i would like to know what kind of track it is i think it is a tiger maybe saber tooth .

Were there more than just the one picture? What shows on my screen is that there may have been more.

Could you show another picture with a ruler in the same view to gauge the size of the print?

I rule out humanoids!

Edit: I see that you posted the print is 5" x 10".

I will let you know soon i will have to get the size of it and post it soon.

cave bear maybe

I think it very well could be a fossilized track as the pressure ridges are evident. Not wolf or canine as the pad is too close to the toes, so possibly a saber toothed tiger or other big cat. Brace yourself for naysayers who have never examined any track in creek mud in their entire lives and would have a difficult time following the signs of a dump truck driving over soft ground.

Now that was just funny....... hahahaha, and

WHO DROVE ACROSS MY YARD LAST NIGHT! I noticed that, this morning.....argh...... :angry5:
yeah, rut it up so more for me....... :angry4: Not like I don't have a sign says: stay off grass.
and another that says: no mooring :BangHead: Hey, it's rainy season..... :laughing7:

I'm voting saber-tooth possum or saber-tooth raccoon.
That's my choices and I'm sticking to them. :laughing7:

(I really have no idea, but cool rock and GL)

Thank you for saying what needs to be said! :icon_thumright: That and Feck the Begrudgers too! :skullflag:

The track was 6in wide 8in long 4in thick . this is the only pic I have of it right now. I don't think it was made from the water
the track was to defined and you could tell it was from weight.

IMO - looks natural
If its not, I think it would be a right font paw
Left paw if its the back leg
no indication of nail , hair imprints?
I have a challenge with the pad imprints
IMO brady
