Found this today on lunch break sampling a new park. 925 silver and probably a glass "stone".

Well the ring is stamped "UTC" behind the 925 which leads me to believe that red gem is actually a real stone. (UTC means no ultrasound cleaning , no temperature extremes...)
I'm guessing its a garnet...
