As of today Baltimore city parks \ reopen to detecting after the usual 2 month break. I headed to an older park thats actually a first for me. To my surprise very little trash, lots of Zincons and few clad. I hit a cool spill with two wheats ( 1950 D & 1953 ) and two Nickels 1941 & 1952, I was hoping for a silver dime in that hole but never happened. Pulled two vintage Huber keys ( well 1 and 1/2 ) Followed by a 1954 nickel and later a 1941 wheat. A Marble and pocket knife where also present. I'm sure there is silver among those oldies, a return trip is on my head, My two better finds have to be a flattened 1891 10 Centicimos from the Dominican Republic ( really though it was my first colonial coin ) and lastly my best surface find in a while a very nice ______________, can someone please tell me what this is called? I seen detectors used them in dry soil, but i don't know the name. Try to check with the park office to see if it belong to park workers but it was closed. HH
