Not so many birds here which is odd
Put a feeder out, they may show up. We've got so many it's a bit ridiculous sometimes, way more than we ever saw without the feeders.

I had a nice conversation with a little House Finch yesterday. She sat on a fence post next to me and was just twittering away. Every time I said something to her, she would tweet a few things back. When I asked if I could take her picture, though, she flew away. That's the usual reaction. Most of the wildlife really doesn't like you pointing things at them. That's why I love the bird feeders with the cameras built in. They don't seem to mind those at all.

Good morning everyone. :coffee2: :sunny: The white squirrel was missing for several weeks & I hoped something

hadn't happen to him. He's been back the last few days. I put out p-nuts, acorns, & sunflower seeds. Also I have a platform that holds an ear of dried corn. Lot's of fat squirrels around here.

Do your squirrels eat corn from the ears? Iā€™ve had two ears out now for about a month. No customers. Not even any bird pecks. Maybe they wonā€™t eat our IL GMO corn?šŸ˜

You never know. Maybe it smells dangerous

When I used to put corn out for the squirrels they loved the whole cobs and would happily strip them bare.
