Hey Folks!!

Waited for weeks for rain , and nothing!! Now it rained so much that the fields are standing in lakes of water. The farmers have most of the fields planted and this will probably damage alot of crops. I have a bunch of places to walk if they are not too soft. Got out for a little while yesterday and got rained out, but not before a few finds. Hopefully I will find a place that is solid enough to walk today. Just wanted to post a few finds before I head out the door to hunt. Here they are!!

Happy Huintin', Twig.

:dontknow:not much rain at all here. it gets dark, sprinkles a little then it passes. :dontknow:
very nice finds, congrats!!!

Greg,

When I get rained out it is for the farmers who let me look. I would swim through a field if I had to . When the crops are in and the fields are standing in water the farmers here dont like me to rut up the rows between the corn. If you rut up the rows then the water has a hard time draining off. At least that is what a few of the farmers say. If it was not for the farmers I would have no place to walk so I abide by the rules. I went back and walked again today and got rained out again. The storm cells that have been comming over are gully washers. They come fast and hard. I found a few and will post them a little later. I will try again in the morning.

Good luck on your next hunt!!

Yup, we have to keep'em happy. I just made a few calls this morning and got two approvals that are about 12 miles apart and both owners asked me not to come out for a couple days. We have had so much rain. I have a lot of places to walk but by the time I am allowed in them the corn will be up 8 to 10 inches. Gonna cut my spring hunting success down quite a bit. I am heading out to look in a county West of me , hope it is not as wet there. When I get home I will post yesterdays finds, and maybe if I am lucky some finds from today too!!

Good luck on your next hunt,

Twig.
