I tell you, poor George never got his due as a songwriter for the Beatles. He was only allowed 1 song per album side, and yet some of his songs are the most memorable. He even had Eric Clapton play on Happiness is Warm gun.

I wish I was able to post one more song. It would have been Badge, by Cream. George so-wrote the song with Eric Clapton. Badge is one hell of a tune too

There is no doubt that John, Paul and George are all great writers, it's just that I feel George was set aside as the younger brother.

Solo

A tribute song to John Lennon

Happiness is a Warm Gun & While My Guitar Gently Weeps

couple of my Favorite Beatles songs

I was not Impressed with the way George got so mesmerized with the Indian
spiritual crap.
Not a putdown on India, Just an opinion on Harrison (& the rest of them) wasting time with the whole Guru thing

I think we have to remember they were still young for all intents and purposes and George by far seemed the most gentle. I think he was truly looking for enlightenment. He also took to the relaxing sound of the Sitar, and did compose some interesting songs with it. One for the Beatles and a slew in his solo career
