Perfect conditions again the rain that happened 2 nights ago has not dried up yet & it was a nice cool overcast day.:icon_thumright:
However, the weeds are boxing us in & although I thought this might be the last day, we may squeeze another 1.5 days out of it yet. (Fingers crossed)
First 3 hours we only had the silver sixpence to speak of so it was nice to finish a 5 hour hunt with 2 more hammered.:laughing7:

First piece of Roman Pot Shard
Maybe a bit of Roman painted wall plaster!
Bashed up Medieval Lead Bird Feeder (Some think it was a Pilgrims Holy Water holder)
1855 French 5 Centimes
Neolithic Flint
Georgian Pan/Trade Weight
Broken 14th C Buckle
Broken Roman Lock Fitting
1897 Sixpence
Henry III Cut Qrter Penny (Farthing)
Charles I 1639-40 Sixpence (Best one I've found so far)8-)

Yeap, it could be.

It's a 40 acre field, with only about 8 acres covered so far.

Hi, wow great hunt with some awesome finds. Congrats:occasion14:

That's quite a range of finds there - congrats on another great hunt! :occasion14:

Cheers guys:occasion14:

The hammered silver is great and everything, but I am very curious as to whether you find any good potatoes for eating?

always awesome finds, dream finds for us. love the flint, to me it is very nice

I like that Neolithic flint. Always wanted to hunt stone age artifacts in Europe. Beautiful stuff.

Awesome as ever. I'm really amazed at the amount of buttons you got there! On a good day, I'll find half a dozen or so at best.

Cruz... pic 2 second item from top left = ?

The flower decor? No idea what this pressed copper thing went on to.
