I hit the old zoo in town today, they are doing some work on the fence and tore out some water lines and haven't watered in 6 weeks or more. The ground is like a rock and the digging is miserable. I hunted for 2 hours and only managed a wheat and a bunch of clad. I decided to hunt near the playground area and that's when the fun began, within an hour I dug 2 silver dimes, a junk ring and 8 wheats all shallow and within a small area. The next hour netted only clad. Ended up with 18 quarters, 10 dimes and 13 pennies. The oddest find was the end of what looks like a hypodermic needle, could be from giving an animal a shot.
