Did you know you could purchase the Complete Official Record of The Civil War on CD?

Here is a link: http://www.amazon.com/dp/0763900001...iveASIN=0763900001&adid=0BG6XM4M0PVV0FFRE45S&

Great find. There may be some advantages to having the CD, but you can save that money and access the "OR" directly from the net, just type 'Official Records of the Civil War' in the Google search box and you'll find that you can access them from the Cornell & OSU library web sites (among others I'm sure). These also include keyword searches.

Been using the CD for a few years now. It will let you search allot more options at once and faster then on the internet. You can save your searches this is a huge help when you het 100 hits on your search.
Worth every penny for research.

I plan on getting me a copy, I am not a big CW Relic hunter but every now and then I get the opportunity and this would allow me to research a specific area a lot faster than on the internet.

Did you know that the Amazon CD cost about $60.00 but you can get the same CD off Ebay for $9.99 plus $3.00 for shipping. I bought the one off Ebay and its the same as the one on amazon. It runs and performs searches just fine. Check it out, http://www.TheHistoricalArchive.com

Thanks

I bought that CD more than ten years ago when it was made by Guild Press of Indiana.
