Well it took me 4 hours to locate a camp site on the new field I was hunting. After seeing a copperhead I was much weary of the leaves cause I didnt have my snake boots on. But finally I found a camp and the Ground Hogs liked the area. They had dug it up for me so most were just laying around waiting for me to pick them up. I found quartz and black chert artifacts. i did find one field that had allot of Rhyolite and I found one piece that looks like a net weight but it might just be natural I am not sure. I found allot of broken pieces of tools. I hope to find the other halves next week. If you see a time frame on any of these let me know. Looks like the same type I was finding before probably Archaic but the Hoe was out there in the same field just in a different area. Thanks, rock

Looks like things are getting better. Not a bad hunt at all. Not sure about the first quartz piece, but quartz and cameras are like oil and water.

Yeah I thought the same but after looking at the bit end it shows flaking like a end scraper but larger for the hand.

Look at the other 2 quartz ones posted together. The one on the left is strange almost like a preform. The one on the right is a hafted end scraper.
