Hello

I have been metal detecting for about a year now with some luck, I am getting retired from the military due to health Issues and the doc said I needed to pick an activity that would get me outside but stay out of the sun as much as possible, does anyone know of any Tx beaches that I can detect without a permit?

Welcome Sam! The Texas beaches are fairly open, no detecting in state parks or the National Seashore area. S Padre below the cut is OK, N Padre above the National Seashore is OK, Galveston and Surfside is OK.
