Hi, I'm Joe, staring out in Rockland County NY with a Bounty Hunter Discovery 2200 that I've had for a while and used now and then, but starting today, plan on putting to good use!
I started detecting today in the front yard of a house from the late 1800's, and managed to find about 30 nails, 4 pull tabs, misc. string, glass, foil, etc., a huge disconnected sewer pipe, (too big to dig up), a modern penny, modern dime, some odd chain/hook/plate/swively thing, (soon to be on what is it), and the coup de gras.... drumroll please....
TWO WHEATIES!! a '46 and a '20!
(And the great thing is, I only searched half of the front yard, and not at all thoroughly, so there's bound to be more turning up soon!)
This is gonna be the start of an excellent detecting filled summer.
(And yes, I'm filling my holes.)
