This one place I go to always has bins full of knives, forks, spoons, etc. Dig at your own risk. These people don't put any tape on the blades of knives or anything. It is very dangerous, anyhow sitting on top of the pile was this knife. I picked it up and immediately saw sterling handle, it was $1. Hahah as I walked around the store with it I got the weirdest looks, the thing is massive. Over 1 foot in length, sharp as heck. I love the look of the knife, I assume it's a carving knife??? Awesome for one buck. I doubt there is much sterling here but since the handle is so big I want to say at least $12 of silver value? Thoughts? Is there anyway to find out the brand or how old it might be?

I also created a sheathe for it.

I use a piece to move other pieces. Never a cut yet!
Carry a large knife handle down with blade under forearm . Have not caught any strange looks, but then I ain't lookin for any too much either.

There's probably 1/2 to 1 troy ounce of silver in the handle & more than likely it's in the middle of that range.

The guard should be Sterling too and that is a lot of weight.

Professor Plum, in the Library with THIS knife :)
