Is this more on gold jewelry? I would like to know if it covers nugget hunting and how to get the most out of it for that purpose. Even though its not a nugget hunting machine. The discrimination would be excellent to use in trashy gold nugget areas if it can pick up something small. Thanks!

The EQ has more of that kind of potential although if you look on the Detector Prospector site there are some CTX gold programs and instruction. These are also avaialble for download at my site: Home | Clive's Gold Page

Thanks for getting back to me. I have read and downloaded the programs from detectorprospector awhile back. I reached out to him for some more instruction but he did not have anymore to give and was too busy (completely understand) to write up anything or video anything. So I was hoping that this book might cover not only gold jewelry but nugget hunting too and the techniques and processes used. The CTX is a great machine, but I do understand that the Nox is more for prospecting than a CTX. I only get to beach hunt once a year for a couple weeks and I am not too into relic hunting, so I actually got my CTX up for sale (not on TNet) to be replaced with a Nox. That way someone else can enjoy the CTX for what it really should be used for and I'll have a beach hunter as well as a prospecting machine that my fiance' can use or I could use when in highly trashy areas. I currently use a SDC for prospecting and love it!!

Cool Im sure you will like the NOX.

Yea Clive, you have written another good book here. It is rich with content to learn the CTX better.
Cheers,
Dan

thanks, Dan--love the detector--these are some things that have worked well for me.
