so i wanted to get an underwater MD'er....

i ordered a viper and it came broken. glad it did as i later found out it would have been a let down to use. i ordered a tiger shark from a different company. tiger shark got mauled (no kidding) by the postal service and got returned to the vendor. vendor is shipping me out a replacement.

i'm working on 3 weeks now looking forward to snorkeling with my (whenever it arrives) MD'er. i'm just short of wrapping my radioshack backup detector in garbage bags and taking it swimming!!

That's a bummer, man. I hope you get your's soon. I just took mine out for the first time yesterday. The water was too rough. I was waist deep for about 45 mins and kicked my butt. I spent the rest of the time in shallower water and at the water line. I didn't find much. Don't worry, it'll be here before you know it.

unfortunately when you spend a few hundred bucks, sales taxes begin to get annoying. when it comes to high dollar items, i usually buy from out of state to avoid sales taxes. the trade off is having to wait for your stuff to arrive but i've never had it this bad!
