You aren't being punished, you are being given time to do the research you need!

We're all in the same snowy mess up here right now.
You just have to switch gears, try a little coin roll hunting, check out the local coin star machine see if any change was left, keep looking down people still drop stuff.
Visit the local goodwill see of you can score some silver or gold etc.
Go thru your own stuff maybe you over looked something good, it happens.
Like Jason said research older better places to hunt in spring.
I found two spots via google maps!
......uhmm you didn't hear this from me,...I have searched the snow piles in mall parking lots just around the edges, don't climb them, keep an ear out for the front loaders and plows, and DON'T wear white while searching there- you want to be seen by the plow drivers! Preferably hunt when they aren't plowing! One of these days I'll get lucky and find a car that got buried! Lol!

Head on out and see if you can spot the places where people go sledding. You can hunt those in the snow, but also hit them in the spring. The very top and bottom are where the goodies usually are.

Between snow, work, ice. And ice, work, snow. And work, snow, ice........:BangHead::BangHead:
I feel your pain.
You are not alone...............

MY LORD, look what winter has done to you people! Dreaming of finding frozen cars, taking the lunch change from tobogganing pre school children. What's next...crawling with your MD around the bleachers at a hockey game, under the table at bingo halls!!
Get it together...SLAP....lol.
Soon my friends, SOON :)

that sounded a little put downish should I be offended ?

Hang on, Nleet22. Possibly today or tomorrow you will have something to look forward to. You know what I mean!

Na, a shopping cart gives a smaller signal, the F150 gives a bigger longer signal.....he he he.

I know your pain.God bless Tnet .Best thing you can do for your machine is take the batteries out until further use if you think it is gonna be awhile, just to be on the safe side.good luck in the future:icon_thumright:

Took the day off for my birthday from work and went out to detect.. in the 60's today, and went to a local park that I got some good signals at before but couldn't dig cause of the ground being frozen.. hit a good signal, went to dig, and the ground is still frozen solid.. on top of that, it started to rain, so after 2 minutes of being out, I pack up all my gear, get back in my car, and head home.. what a birthday.
