The last great cavalry charge in history "Beersheba 1917" really cool find
The mid-east, october 1917, Turkish defences which included machine-guns, cannons and trench lines with riflemen was attacked by 500 horsemen from the Australian 4th light horse.Aussies didn,t have swords so they drew bayonet and charged straight at the turkish guns and defeated the turks. This event is considered the last great cavalry charge in history.Australian 4th light horse add elements of the Victoria mounted rifles [local].Heres pic taken at the battle and my really cool find and site pics.
