Five silvers, awesome. Yeah, this dry hard ground sucks, can't wait for some rain here too!

Not bad for a place that's supposed to be hunted out. The fair grounds go back to 1851 and the Illinois 102nd regiment trained for the civil war. Hoping so older coins are still waiting to be found if and when we ever get some rain.

Good count from one place these days. Did someone tell you your lactation was hunted before?

I hate when that happens :laughing7:

I can't count the number if times I have drove by and seen someone out in the grounds with a metal detector. I've been told by numerous people that the place has been hunted hard over the years...most people show up after the fair looking for dropped change.

The fair grounds are right around sixty acres but the funny part of this is that I'm finding everything right out in the location of the fair...so it makes me wonder what might just be waiting to be found in the other parts of the grounds. Its a perfect day here in the low 70's so I plan on heading back up this evening.

Hunted out? I think not...

Nice coins.

Anita
