The first hunt was a park I'd not been to before. There was an incredible amount of tabs and quite a few nickels, so I was very hopeful for some gold, but it wasn't meant to be.
I pulled $5.83 in clad, a doggie tag, a junk ring and earring, a token and a LV police assn. lapel pin.
The next hunt was at the park where I found the 18k gold band recently. There I pulled $3.96 in clad, a blingy thingy, a souvenir penny from San Diego Zoo, half of a silver teapot charm and three bling rings. The big ring is really heavy and had me going pretty good for a second. It's marked 18k H.G.E. (heavy gold electroplate).
Oh well, another short lived thrill.
The next hunt was at an enormous (for Vegas, anyways) park that I've been to once before without much luck. Again, this place is loaded with foil, tabs and other trash, so I was hoping for something good.
What I got was $5.15 in clad, a sinker, a washer, a barrel nut, somebody's art class project of copper and brass, a toilet token (a first for me), a copper charm, a sterling and copper 'feather' ring and some blingy bits.
The ring is marked Sterling and CU and a makers mark that looks like LC.
So no gold, but a little bit of silver and some petrol money.
The weather has been so screwy here, as many places this year seem to be. Somebody sent me this today:
Okay, back to hunting now!
