Hey everybody, it's been a long time since I last posted. I graduated high school just over month ago and have been working on getting my AA degree as well. So I have been pretty busy, but have always found time to go out with my detector. I live on a hill with a lot history. It has had activity on it since the 1880s according to the BLM township and range maps. Anyway, these are the best finds I've made over the last few months. The most recent are the "Vancouver - Portland Toll Bridge" tokens. I found ten of those in about a 3' by 3' square. Must have been a spill! Some of my other finds include a set of porcelain door knobs, a cast iron toy car (which, after some research, I think I narrowed it down to a 1930's A.C. Williams), various lantern parts, some clock parts, and a couple of silver plated spoons. Also, the peavey hook and broad hatchet were found near an old spring-board notched cedar stump. Nothing astonishing, but since they came from this hill that I've lived on my entire life, they have significant meaning to me. The A.C. Williams, peavey hook, and hatchet all underwent electrolysis. The A.C. Williams was in rough shape, but looks great after a couple of days in the bath. Thanks for looking!
