In the last few days I have been getting some PEM asking a lot of question.
I have never seen this person on the forum.
His email ends with scgov.net. Does this mean SOUH CAROLINA GOVERNMENT or what?
I need to know FOR REAL.

I can't tell you anything about his email but when someone pops up with a lot of questions I would be very Leary, I'd be inclinded to send him on a wild goose chase, if he is some government guy snooping around it will keep him busy & out of everyone hair.

I have personally Researched this and have found Nermous thing on the SC Govt.
Go to Google type in the sc.govt you will find Much on the South Carolina GoVt.

I am concerned because he states that he lives in Sarasota Florida. If this is true then why does he have a S.C. GOV.NET address.
I WILL GE TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS.

Peg, I have read every one of the post on TreasureNet that the individual you are referring to has ever posted, and I think that you are blowing this way out of proportion. Oh and just for the record, I also have a government email address but I don't use it for anything but work related issues, and rarely give it to anyone at TreasureNet. Does this some how make me a nefarious character, that is trying to spy on Florida Treasure Hunters to see if they are up to anything illeagle? This individual has done nothing wrong or out of the ordinary, and Yes!, he asks questions (who doesn't on TNet), but he has not asked nearly as many as you have asked according to my count. From what I have read of his posts, he sounds very knowlegable of shipwrecks along the Florida coast. So instead of looking for the Gestapo under every rock, why don't you try to learn a thing or two from him.
This is America, and yes! even government employees have rights in this country, and are entitled to be Treasure Hunters if they so choose. I am a Government Employee (over 31 years of service and counting), and I am PROUD to tell the world that I am also a Treasure Hunter!
