Heavy rain was predicted, little did I know that the rain god would introduce me to the goddess of mineral oil.

With few g-sale signs or ads posted I opted for another estate sale. Quick look at the jewelry table and seeing nothing that grabbed my attention for closer inspection I headed for the basement.

This place was loaded with garbage from the last 4 decades. Nothing noteworthy so I dwelved into the dirty, moldy stacked boxes.

Then we met, it was beautiful. My dirty little fingers scraping the mouse poop gently off of her.
Love!

I did stop upstairs and bought a few more items for my new gal. There in a girls bedroom was a box of ransacked costume jewelry, in the bottom edges and corners were many post earrings and backs, 2 grams of 14k.

The best part is I helped the estate sales people move a couple heavier pieces of furniture and my bill was reduced to $10.00

Happy Hunting.

Funny, I have the 3 Goddesses version of that rain lamp. They were made by Creators Inc. in the 1970's. Paid the same $10 too with a couple other items, lol. It got pushed around in storage and I broke the line, so that's going to be a chore to fix it.

Wow, I knew there were a couple versions but never saw the 3 Goddesses.

I'm trying to figure out how to get enough will-power to dismantle and clean that piece.
Guess I'll put on my oil-change clothes and get funky.

I listed the industrial lamp on the bay for $57.97 plus shipping...sold in about 20 minutes.
Probably could have pulled a few extra dollars.:BangHead:

Nice vintage Shakespear reel. I'm glad the lamp sold so well for you, but I have a place on my work bench it would have fit perfectly.

Thanks capt-zero. I thought that thing would sit on the bay for at least a week. picked up the reel for almost nothing but it's not as big a winner as I was hoping.
