dug this trigger guard up sniffing out good deep targets on a historic town lot with my trust old Garrett(now deceased). I thought it was pretty cool anyways, having such engravings and being about complete.

I had to take a second look as this had been a long time ago, but I had liquid nailed the coil to the lower shaft after banging it around for years into tree roots and brush...lol

Now that is neat. Looks like the sandy soil helped keep it nice. So was your coil in a fixed position after that?

Here is my favorite neclace pendant. Found off a path in a wooded park with my Ace250. Sounded like a silver dime about 4 inches deep.

What did you find? From research and a few emails to the museum I found a Navajo bracelet from the 1920-30’s time frame. Est value $300-400.oo

Where did you find it? Massachusetts at an old hospital sight (1900's)

How deep was the item? About 5 inches down

What was the VDI? Came up as a 99 reading

What detector and coil did you use? I have a Garrett AT Pro using a small 5x8 coil.

Also some costume jewelry near the same hole.

Yes very Sandy soil here on the riverfront. You can see in the pic the glob of liquid nail, it lasted a long time in the fixed position....but then went back to Whites.

That is one nice bracelet. Can't believe how big it is. My wife would take that in a heartbeat. Congrats and thanks for sharing!

In my first year detecting I've found about 37lbs of trash, and;
4 gold rings
1 gold religious pendant
1 partial platinum diamond ring
3 silver rings (one has the entire Lord's prayer on it)
1 silver chain
3 silver rosies
1 merc (1918, my oldest coin)
1 45/70 cartridge with a headstamp date of Aug 1882
1 brothel token
27 wheaties
1 silver and turquoise bracelet
about $285 in clad,
and a few various other tokens and a lot of rusty old junk from the California Trail immigrants.

It's been a blast and easily as addictive as artifact hunting (which I've been doing since the mid sixties). Nearly all of my finds are from the Reno area. The pic with the bracelet shows a typical pile of clad from the city parks.finds1.jpgfinds2.jpgfinds3.jpgfinds4.jpgfinds5.jpgPark finds.jpg
