I'm always looking for good treasure hunting books. And came across this gem of a book. Recently published ( two months ago ) it's written by a life long digger. The book is comprehensive in its scope, covering privy digging, farm dumps, neighborhood dumps, anywhere there's trash. He also covers lake and river diving for trash "treasure". It's full of colorful pictures of incredible finds. There are chapters on East coast "classic" bottle dumps, Hunting for telegraph insulators, Digging beer and soda cans, there is even a chapter on Finding sea glass! The author gives many tips and advice. This one is going to be a classic!

I actually met him today. I was detecting in a field and he stopped to say hi. Great guy to talk to, just wish he had more time to talk. But I know he's a busy guy. Got a look at his book too, and it really covers all sorts of things.
