Great you got out!!
Is that a Bally's Aladdin's Palace token?
Used to be an arcade/ gameroom or something like that...
1976 saw a pinball machine of the same name too.
Nice!! You got in another winter walk.
Nice interesting bunch of finds.
So did you check to see if the eye glass frames are marked silver? And is that stone a garnnet?
Still the clad pile grows.
Fishy is happy. Blingie needs more beauty rest anyhow.
Nicely done Sir, nicely done!
Why are you finding all those clad quarters in a cornfield? What went on there to leave all those behind? Farmers with holes in their pockets? Makes me wonder. Gary
I wonder if there might have been a fair or carnival that stopped here years ago or even a roadside stand? The answer to that very question, has troubled me too, for a long, long time!!
I've said before, If I was dropped inside the perimeter of King Tut's tomb, I would *STILL* find clad!!!!
When I'm out there I'm always saying, "Hmmm...quarter hit. I wonder if its from farmer Johnny come lately or from farmer Aalouwishes P. Coltrane! "
But, with this current place there is something even more odd about the clad I'm finding. Not all, but the majority of all of it, from 1970 to 1979!! Sure, some newer but almost *nothing* from earlier! So strange!
I might could understand if there was a lot of fill dirt but, there's not.
Anyhoo, thanks for the inquiry!
Merry Christmas!
