Turns out to be snake oil... but with an interesting story. Basically this doctor in Columbus OH formed a company selling a cure all potion during the turn of the century. He did alright until prohibition hit and it turns out his concoction is 28% alcohol. Well he did really well during prohibition, lots of people needed to be cured.

Nice POD button Thad. Wouldn't mind finding one of those.

Nice finds!
Is there actually a mine under your house?

Yes, I think it is a radio part! I believe it is the frame for the radio tuning dial. Cool finds all the way. Thanks for sharing.

Southwestern PA is coal country. That's why we have to buy mine subsidence insurance on our homes.

My Aunt's home south of Pittsburgh has the same situation...

Wow! What a bunch of great finds! That Post Office button is super cool!!!

What a great batch of relics. I can't even pick a favorite they are all so nice. All right, I changed my mind. I'm going with the 2 buttons and the Mine tag.

Nice finds. That cartridge is from the St. Louis Ordnance Plant in 1942. Looks like a 50 cal, which they made there.
