Went into a BofA today and got $100 in dimes and $20 in nickels. All were a skunk.

When the teller handed me the tray of dimes, I just dumped them into my bag, so I didn't look at the individual rolls. They know me there.

Talk about being shorted, this one roll had $3.40 and a stinking penny. 2 other rolls were similar.

I never say anything when a roll is short a few dimes (I don't care about a 30c or so), but if they hand me one that is short like this and I catch it, I say something (I even apologize for being "that guy" and I say I don't mind if a few are missing but when its like a buck or so its kind of ridiculous - and they always understand).

Once I leave the bank I never go back to complain - this is the cost of CRHing.

I recently had the exact opposite issue, so it goes both ways. Searching bags of cents, found a LOT of dimes. Made the CU aware and still finding, so... Everyone is +$0.09, all adds up. Relatively sure when I first started, with all the differences I'm still not out any $ even after getting flips and albums. Had to laugh though, when I deposited the cents, each bag was "short" a few cents, as I only replaced the cents I kept, not the dimes, but I'm still well in the black so far.

I don't CRH but every time I'm at the bank, I ask the teller, "Isn't this free sample day"? They always say, "That was yesterday!"
