Nice finds bud. I drive down river road everyday to pick up my baby girl.

The heck with the other item...the bullet next to the gardner is a nice CS shot gun slug/minie. They are found less than some CS buttons.

Nice find.

Dan

nice finds,,, the curely hook thing looks like a hand forged " spike hook " for the lack of the proper name.
the long tapered point would have been straight and they would hammer it into the wall or tree depending on where they were at , and then hang items on them.
i have seen these in antique cabins and old rock houses .
from the picture that is what it looks like to me .

thanks man, i watch you and your partner Beau Omnetti on you tube!! you guys kill it!!

stop by sometime. i am at the horse farm with the brown fence near 301 intersection...hahaha

No worries, thats what this site is for, congrats again on a very nice find! I would take that over all the more common CS state buttons any day (NC, SC, VA)

CS shotgun slug beside the gardiner--now that slug is a RARE bullet!

BIG Congrats, I'd love to have an example in my collection!

thanks buckleboy!
