The Classic Party Cheese Ball

2 - 8oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1 - 8 oz. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp. finely chopped onions
1 Tbsp. chopped red peppers
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. lemon juice
Dash ground cayenne pepper
1 cup chopped pecans

Beat cream cheese & cheddar cheese in small bowl with electric mixer on med. speed until blended. Mix in all remaining ingredients except pecans; cover. Refrigerate at least 3 hours, overnight is better. Shape into ball or log shape.

You can also shape into 1 inch balls and roll each in pecans until coated.
 

Thanks , have to try this one for Christmas. Have to tell this story though.
Years back I dropped off a friend in the wee hours after sipping a 'couple'.
He went in his house & mistook a bird bell( beef suet (fat) rolled in bird seed )
his mother bought to feed the birds in winter for a cheese ball. He said he ate half of it & couldn't figure out why it wouldn't spread on crackers. He didn't know why he was sick until his mother asked what happened to that bird feeder.
So if anyone is having a little holiday nip, keep the two seperated. I still LMAO
thinking about it.
