I enjoy seeing turkeys roaming the fields on my trip to work and it's an awesome sight when they fly across the road.

I have a question I've always wondered about regarding turkeys. Birds with no feathers on their head are traditionally scavengers but don't turkeys eat seeds and grain? So why no feathers on theirheads?
