Now that's a nice scraper. That almost looks like the one I lost? :unhappysmiley:

That's a big KRF scraper.....Is there a chance that it is a KRF Celt? Smaller then a normal celt but looks almost consistent with a flint celt.........Its a thought............GTP

Yeah Terry it just looks to too big for a scraper...Plus the flat surface on the bottom. Not saying scrapers are not made that way just not that big!!!.......That would have to be the largest scraper i have ever seen, it is however a stellar find. I have never seen a large KRF Celt like that. If it is a scraper then that is one of the best I have ever seen and never seen one like that made out of KRF. MY hats of to ya Steve for such a great find. What am I saying all of your finds are awesome!!!!!..........................GTP(Chris)

That is really a nice piece it is a big one for your area. Great find, Congratulations on that find Steve,

hi thanks
yes get-the -point it is the second biggest one i have found,....but it is the nicest
i will take pictures of the biggest one yet but it is not as nice
the historical society of ND says a lot of them were huge when first made but decreased in size as a result of continual re-sharpening
i will post the images i just talked about soon on this thread
