I hit up a local park near the house and found a dime fairly quick so decided to stay and see what else I could find. About 5 minutes later I hit on a good solid signal. I started digging and up came a nice big coin. There was dirt still attached to the coin and I could not tell what it was but saw some strange design so I started to get excited at a possible rare find! After a little cleaning..............let's just say the find definitely put a smile on my face and I laughed for a few minutes!

Yes I am back in the states now. I moved back about 8 months ago. The metal detecting is nowhere near the caliber it was in Germany! At least where I live. I have managed to find a few nice items but they are few and far between. Hopefully I can return to Germany one day and enjoy that rich history again!
