Well maybe there you can't get better, but some places have much more forgiving ground. My condition here is probably similar to yours so I would definitely take that one too!
That's a pretty good for a old copper coin to come out of the ground after almost 300 years. I found a couple of those several years ago while hunting the farm fields around Cromer in East Anglia in the U.K., none were quite as good as the one you found!
