Well maybe there you can't get better, but some places have much more forgiving ground. My condition here is probably similar to yours so I would definitely take that one too! :thumbsup:

That's a pretty good for a old copper coin to come out of the ground after almost 300 years. I found a couple of those several years ago while hunting the farm fields around Cromer in East Anglia in the U.K., none were quite as good as the one you found!

i found one a 100 years newer and nowhere in the shape that one is in nice coin

Some of the coppers dug in the piny areas in Southern NJ would put that one to shame (just ask Don), but it is a nice one for sure!
