fellow hunters , i live not far from where this took place ,and as i was hunting today , i stumbled upon this , it looks like a hand made mini ball or a pistol shot to me , but mabey im just hopeful ! . anyway the field i was in belongs to the local school district i have permission to hunt ,and it is in the path of the retreat from the battle of the revolution , so i just dont know , would love a little insight from you nice folks here , thanks and H.H.

Yep,and still has the casting spru.Not called a Minnie Ball though......
As far as was it from The Rev. War?Thats a tough call,the patina it bears does appear "vintage"

....likely a musket ball,I do beleive its too small for a Grapeshot(not sure about that,as I have never dug Grapeshot)
